Ava Moradi is a contemporary artist who has exhibited and created commissioned works internationally for over ten years. Ava lives and works with one foot planted firmly in Europe and the other one in Asia.
Ava’s artistic practice is inclusive of many mediums; she creates two-dimensional and three-dimensional stone installations around the world that explore possibility and potential whilst bringing their viewers directly into their environment. The dynamics created by the participation of the audience with the pieces allow for a rich social experience, as well as the potential for a peaceful contemplative one. Due to their non-objective, reflective nature, the installations can adapt to a multitude of environments and have been successfully exhibited in both urban and rural settings. Her artwork creates a unique relationship with the viewer that is an essential part of experiencing Ava’s work. Her installation works involve both light and design elements, which combined with a clever use of stone makes for a lapidary and illuminating impact.
Ava has been widely exhibited throughout the Europe and Asia, where she currently lives and works and has held private in solo exhibitions in London, Monaco, Urmia, Verona and Seoul.
