Mariusz Szydeł was born in 90’s in Poland. This was very special time for him and everyone
in Poland. It was the time, when freedom in Poland has just become.

It was very unique time for Europe as well. The unification of Germany, the collapse of the
USSR, Freddie Mercury’s death.
Mariusz has been always interested in Art. As a child he painted, he drew and sculptured. His
first works were exhibited in Berlin at the age of 14, where he won second prize.
Painting has been always his passion and at the way to express the world that surrounded him.
For the first time he went abroad at the age of 14 and it was the beginning of his journeys,
which had enormous impact on his inspirations and work.
He dedicates this collection “2018” to his family, who always supported him in the pursuit of
his passion, which is art.
